The Ubuntu Group

Since 1999, Ubuntu Pathways has been a global leader in the nonprofit community. Through a comprehensive system of education, health, and household support, we are placing 2,000 vulnerable South African children and their families on pathways out of poverty–from cradle to career.

We have developed a group structure that allows Ubuntu Pathways NPC to leverage South Africa’s Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) initiative to provide sustainable funding for community upliftment. We operate multiple for-profit entities, including Ubuntu X, that participate in B-BBEE deals to generate revenue for our nonprofits while helping corporates increase their B-BBEE scorecard.
